Many Limbs ZUZI's Youth Aerial Company ZUZI is delighted to present its Youth Aerial Company - unique to Tucson! This company is currently composed of 11 youth ages 9-15 who have made a commitment to working together and performing for the Tucson community. We are honored to work with these beautiful, creative and promising youth. Through this program ZUZI hopes to provide the challenges necessary for growth as a dancer and an individual - through choreography, performances, and aerial and modern technique classes. Much of the choreography is the creation of the youth themselves under the facilitation of Alison Hart and Nanette Robinson. |

Many Limbs Youth Aerial Company:
Amelia Marsh is 12 years old and has danced with ZUZI! for 9 years. She is in the 7th grade and goes to the Waldorf School. She plays soccer and piano and loves to read and watch old movies. Galyn Sumida-Ross began aerial dance when she was four and began dancing with ZUZI! when she was six. She is in fifth grade at the Waldorf Enchanted Desert School and enjoys African drumming, drawing, acting, swimming and learning about everything. And she loves cats! Kate Gallagher She is 13 years old and has been taking ZUZI! aerial classes for two years. Her other interests include fashion, the visual arts, and school. Hailey Sounart is 14 years old and loves to dance, act and draw. She has been dancing at ZUZI! for 6 years and “loves it”. Besides dancing Hailey enjoys playing soccer and swimming. She attends Orange Grove Middle School and wishes they had a dance program. Molly Stack is 11 years old and loves to dance. This is her 3rd year with ZUZI! and 2nd year with Many Limbs (yeah!). She writes poetry, sings, and is always happy hanging out with family and friends. Emelia Steigert has been dancing with ZUZI! for 8 years. Her hobbies are swimming, drawing, and playing with her hamster. Alicia Tharpe started aerial dance just last year. She is 15 years old and this is her first year in Many Limbs. She is a freshman at University High School and along with dance she is a brown belt in KAJUKENBO. Madeline Barnes Hudak began dancing with Nanette and Nancy when she was two years old, accompanying her Mother to dance class. Her favorite activities are talking on the phone, going shopping, reading, and listening to music. She is 14 years old and is a student at Tucson High Magnet School. Lily Ryan Kelia Gallagher Aleena Glinski is 14 years old. Her hobbies include tennis and alto saxophone along with trapeze, of course. Aleena has been dancing here for 8 years but music is also definitely a big part of her life.
