"Where You Place Your Feet"
A WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION
What a wonderful and successful event! ZUZI! is very proud of this show & event! We attribute our success to our talented Performing Artists; supportive patrons, sponsors & donors; dedicated and hard-working volunteers & staff....each and every one of you brought something great to our event and we thank you from the bottom of our ZUZI! heart!
A time for renewal, self-reflection, and new beginnings. Bringing us the shortest day, and longest night of the year, this marks the first day of Winter, and since it is the longest night of the year, depending on the phase of the moon, we can experience a time of much moonlight. The Winter Solstice celebrates the rebirth of the sun, as the Winter Solstice also marks a turn in the sun's stages as seen from Earth, making this the beginning of longer days.
Thank you, Moon for being with us throughout these lovely nights, and welcome Sun, we look forward to seeing you more.
This year's theme will reflect how, as movement Artists, we participate in restoring harmony in our personal lives and the lives of our loved ones and the community we live in. With each Solstice celebration we envision honoring the interconnectedness of our humanity as we move forward to grow, evolve and change with the return of the sun.
ZUZI! Dance is honored to present our audience with a high-caliber set of beautiful dances. Our performing Artists have worked hard to bring you their very best. Please take a little time to learn more about them and what to look forward to during this year's show.
