ZUZI! Guidelines for In-Studio Classes



It is required that face masks be worn at all times while on the premises. 


Wash hands or use hand sanitizer prior to entering the studio and/or dance space

and before you leave.


Congregating in the lobby will not be permitted. You must sign-in/out your

students using the 6 foot social distancing rule (please follow the markings

on the floor) 


All surfaces, including floors, bathrooms, apparatus, doorknobs, and frequently

touched surfaces, will be routinely cleaned and disinfected throughout the day,

and at the start and end of each day the studio is open. 


It is required that everyone planning on entering the building will have their

temperature taken by a certified screener.  If the temperature reads above 98.6,

you will not be allowed to enter the building.


Vaccination requirements and other revised guidelines are TBA. 



Aerial class size will be limited to a small number of students.  Aerial students must have some experience,  as we will not be teaching using hands-on spotting.  Each student will be assigned one aerial apparatus throughout the session.  You will be unable to share apparatus at any time.  The teacher will have her own apparatus on which to demonstrate.  We encourage you to bring your own trapeze or aerial apparatus.  ZUZI! does have trapezes for purchase and it will be yours to keep forever!




We are unable to teach any partner work.


Floor will be marked with a 9 feet grid to ensure physical distancing.


Face Masks must be worn for the duration of class and must remain on at all times, while on the premises, including while in the restroom.  (Drinking water is the exception.)


If you touch your face, at any point, you will be required to wash your hands thoroughly and/or use hand sanitizer, if a sink is not available.


All students, parents, teachers, staff & visitors are required to adhere to these guidelines and rules.  If anyone refuses to follow any of these instructions, they will be asked to leave and further participation may be terminated.




If you have any Covid-19 symptoms do not attend class, and do not come to the studio.  Please notify a staff member immediately so that we can take extra precaution. 


You will be asked to sign a new waiver release, along with a Safety First Student Agreement.


Only registered students will be allowed to enter the building [no parents or visitors permitted, with the exception of signing in/out underage students (please see requirements in the first section]


Please come with your own filled water bottle and the dance clothes you will be moving in.  The bathroom will not be used as a changing room, nor will we have a place to refill water bottles.


You will be given ZUZI!’s own specially created hand sanitizer and must use it before getting on your apparatus and after, as you leave.


Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of class




Drop off and entrance will be on the east side of the building only.


We will be so excited to see you after all this time but please keep in mind the social distancing rule.


Only registered students will be allowed in the building.


Each time you enter the studio you will be required to sign a safety first agreement.


All belongings will be placed in a sanitized bin at the door as you enter.


Everyone, including staff, will be required to maintain at least 6 foot distancing.


Only one person in the bathroom at a time.  Wash hands before and after opening and closing the door.



We understand that this may feel like an overwhelming amount of rules.  However, we are dedicated to keeping our ZUZI! family safe and healthy, while still providing quality instruction, and we truly appreciate your cooperation.  We are so very happy you will be joining us this season and we cannot wait to “get movin’” with each of you!
