Bethanne is a native Tucsonan who has been dancing with ZUZI for 6 enlightening years! She began her dance training as a young child studying Ballet, Tap and Jazz. As a young adult she began studying modern dance and choreography both in Tucson and New York City. In 2001 her love and curiosity for all things dance led her to a career training and dancing with the Fred Astaire Ballroom Studio in Manhattan. After earning her degree in Education in 2011, she began a new chapter with the Opening Minds through the Arts (OMA) program in Tucson Unified School District as a Teaching Dance Artist designing integrative dance curriculum for children. In 2017 she accepted a full-time Arts Integration Specialist position with an elementary school where she integrates dance, visual arts, theatre, and music into academic standards. She has two beautiful and talented children who keep her heart full and busy! She loves the desert sun, singing, colors, songwriting, playing strings, dancing, creating, laughing, learning, and exploring different ways to express the human experience.
