In this class we will look at the internal landscape of the body and how it relates to the external landscape of our world. We will move to encourage lightness to our felt (kinesthetic) movement experience to explore and expand.  Be prepared for some deep listening to the rhythms of the body and playful, spontaneous explosions of movement.  Bring your curious self!  Open to a new way of inhabiting your precious body.  This class holds the space for nurturance in safety and trust.  All participants are required to read our safety guidelines here.

INSTRUCTORS

Debby Urken will be focusing on somatic movement & improvisation. Her classes incorporate Skinner Releasing principles, Authentic Movement, and concepts from Laban Movement Studies.

Nanette Robinson will be focusing primarily on foundational Releasing classes involving movement rituals, alignment principles, and improvisational studies rooted in Skinner releasing pedagogy, images, improvisation, partner tactile studies and authentic movement.
